New Monthly Magzaine "Comic Alive"

From Media Factory comes a new monthly magazine called Comic Alive, the first issue will be released on June 27th. According to Media Factory, it will "fill you with energy, and make you feel alive!"

Rakuten Books is giving out an original PC wallpaper of "Zero no Tsukai ma" to people who subscribe to the debut issue of "Monthly Comic Alive" between May 25, 2006 and June 25, 2006. Subscribers will receive the wallpaper in early July.

Works from the popular light novel series "MF Bunko J" will be "comicized":
- "Zero no Tsukai ma" (Nana Mochizuki) - A popular light novel that will be adapted into a manga.
- "In kara Mamoru!" (Madarasai) - A ninja series with a hit novel, manga, and anime.
- "Asobini iku yo!" (888) "Let's go play!" - "An alien with a nekomimi tail appears in front of a boy in Okinawa and says: 'Let's go play!'" (TL note: "Azobini iku yo!" Translates into "Let's go play!"
- "Mushi to Gankyuu to Tedeibea" (Yuriko Asami) - A romance fantasy that chronicles the battles and friendship of a warrior girl, Gankyuu Eguriko (common name Gulico), who fights against the the "bug" of the "apple tree in Eden."
- "Fuusui Gakuen" (Haruka Saji) - A Japanese-style magic/fantasy series where high school students aiming to become "magic registered architect" encounter a supernatural creature that uses Feng Shui.
- "Kanokon" (Yamaki Rin) - An ordinary boy named Kouta is transfered into an unbelivable high school where humans and supernatural creatures co-educate.
