New SNS and Wiki Site Specializing in Manga

Fantasista opened a beta version of a free SNS (Social Networking Service) website focusing on manga, titled マンガ読もっ！(Let's Read Manga!), on August 10th.

The site aims to build a community of manga lovers around 3 central pillars: the SNS, which will utilise searchable tags for all posts/entries; a publically-viewable manga database that incorporates a wiki system; and a gallery incorporating a proprietary viewer where users can display/view/rate independent original manga titles. Projected revenue streams include banners, affiliate ads for manga and development/support services for aspiring manga artists. Registration will be free. The official launch is slated for September 8th.
