Aurora Publishing Signs Deal with Diamond

Aurora Publishing, a U.S. manga publisher founded in March 2006 by Japanese publisher Ohzora Shuppan, has signed a booktrade agreement with Diamond Book Distributors, who will be the distributor of its English-language graphic novels:

"We are extremely thrilled to be partnering with Aurora," said Diamond Vice President of Purchasing Bill Schanes. "Ohzora's publications are read by over 15 million people in Japan every year, and we're excited to be a part of their expansion into the rest of the world."

"Diamond's unsurpassed expertise and knowledge of graphic novels will contribute greatly to our success," said Aurora General Manager Mika Ogata. "We are truly looking forward to expanding the manga market with our mutually beneficial relationship with Diamond."
