Gemini Jetpack, a manga and anime store located in Waterloo, Ontario, has announced that it will be closing its doors due to various reasons:

First up, is the vastly changed market place. When we started up, over 5 years ago, one of my motivations was that you couldn’t find anime anywhere. None. At least not the good kind anyway. Now, years later, anime seems to be on every network, with specialty anime devoted networks popping up all the time, not to mention Anime On Demand. And that's cool, but hurts business here of course.

That store was alright.
It was the only place that regularly got random Dark Horse stuff, unlike the Chapters up the street.

That was my favourite store! They hosted awesome yugioh,magic,marvel,mech etc tourneys no one in waterloo has had a store like that. Who cares about anime on demand there is nothing like cracking open a comic or buying a cool anime figurine or even buying your first yugioh deck(YUGI) it was great, now no one can play their slowly dying out games and there only dying out because people gave up on them because there is no where to play.I wish they would reopen.
