Kadokawa Taiwanese Creates New BL Imprint

Walkers, Kadokawa Shoten's Taiwanese division, has announced a new license agreement with Libre Publishing to distribute Libre's products in Taiwan.

As a result of the new deal, Kadokawa will create a new BL imprint called BLOOM Series. The new imprint will cover BL manga and light novels from Libres, as well as original BL series from Taiwan. Below is the announcement posted on Walker's offcial site:

Be X Boy is one of the most well-known BL manga magazine among female fans, and helped make its publisher Biblos one of the biggest BL publisher.

In 2006, the magazine was relaunched by Libre Publishing after Biblos' bankruptcy. After negotiation with Libre Publishing, Kadokawa Taiwan will be partnering with Libre to release its BL titles in Chinese. As part of the deal, Kadokawa Taiwan will also create a brand new imprint called BLOOM Series. With manga and light novels from Libre, as well as quality titles form Taiwai, BLOOM Series' quality will surely please BL fans in Taiwan.
