Death Note Imitation "Red Diary" Popular Among Korean School Children
The report states that thanks to do the popularity of Death Note, similar death notebooks have become very popular among elementary school children in Korea. The "red" notebook can be purchased from stores around school for 3,000 Korean won (approximately 3.2 USD). According to students who purchased the notebook, they have been writing in the notebook names of people they don't like, along with how they die. After the news report appeared on TV, similar reports have also been spreading on the internet.
