From animeOnline comes an in-depth report of Broccoli Books at Fanime 2007. According to the report, Broccoli Books editor Shizuki Yamashita hinted at a "potential Disgaea works in a 'new medium' that Broccoli USA has not yet done." Also included are release dates of Broccoli Books titles, and various Broccoli merchandise news.

From the Broccoli Books Blog comes a report of the first day of Fanime 2007. The report is written by staffs from Broccoli Books, and focuses on Sekihiko Inui's (Murder Princess, Comic Party) tour and impression of the event.

After the bankruptcy of distributor Publishers Group West (PGW), former PGW client Dark Horse and Broccoli Books' have now found new distributors: Dark Horse distributions will now be handled by Diamond Book Distributors, while Broccoli Books will have its distribution handled by Perseus.

Los Angeles, CA (February 21, 2007) - Broccoli Books has announced their boys love imprint name, Boysenberry Books, and will launch it with three titles. Delivery Cupid, Pet on Duty, and Sex Friend will be released starting in summer 2007. The website for Boysenberry Books, boysenberrybooks.com will launch in March 2007.

"We are excited to add a new boys love imprint to Broccoli Books," says Broccoli Books publisher Kaname Tezuka. "We selected the name Boysenberry from fan entries, and the Japanese boys love publishers were equally delighted with the sweet and tangy implications of Boysenberry and how it matches the concept of boys love."
