A new manga titled Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya will start in the November issue of Kadokawa Shoten's Comptiq Ace. The story will be based on Type-Moon's Fate/stay night, Hiroshi Hiroyama will be in charge of the art. According to the report, the manga will focus on Illya's everyday life...with a magical girl twist?

topBack in Febraury, Kadokawa Shoten revealed that the popular seinen manga MPD Psycho, written by Eiji Otsuka and drawn by Sho-u Tajima, will be moved from Shonen Ace to Comic Charge. MPD Psycho resumed serialization with the release of Comic Charge issue 11 (8/22).

Also beginning in Comic Charge issue 11 is Masaaki Nakayama's Maigo Man, a preview of which is available here.

A new series titled Angel High School by Inugami Sukune will begin in the September issue of Sunday GX (8/18), the same issue that Shin Angyo Onshi ended in.

A new manga titled Reisen Shoujo by Souichi Hon began serialization in Manga Action No. 17 (8/21).

On 8/21, Kadokawa Shoten released a special issue of its Monthly Shonen Ace magazine titled Neon Genesis Evangelion Complete Compilation. The special issue contains Yoshiyuki Sadamoto's Evangelion manga, as well as materials from other artists.

Kadokawa Shoten will be releasing the first issue of Kerokero Ace, a new manga/toys/game informational magazine, on 10/26. The magazine will be released on a bi-monthly basis, and will cost 480 yen.

From Kadokawa Shoten comes a new magazine called Zoukan Ace A Assault. The 2007 Summer issue will be released on July 10th, and will carry extra chapters (side stories) of popular serializations such as Mirai Nikki, Garei, Fate/stay night and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.

capeta creator Masahito Soda's manga Subaru will resume serialization in Big Comic Spirits under the titled Subaru ~solitude standing~.

Tomihiko Morimi's award winning novel Yoru wa Mijikashi Aruke-yo Otome will be adapted into a manga in the upcoming issue of Zoukan Ace Assault (July 10th). The manga will be drawn by Ranmaru Kotone.

Yoru wa Mijikashi Aruke-yo Otome (Walk, Girls, Walk as the Night Is Short) was released by Kadokawa Shoten in November 2006, and was awarded the 20th Yamamoto Shugoro Prize in 2007.

According to Lucky Star's official anime website, a light novel adaptation of Kagami Yoshimizu's 4-panel manga Lucky Star will be released on September 1st under Kadokawa's Sneaker Bunko label. The light novel will be titled Lucky☆Star Lucky☆Star Satsujin Jiken and will be authored by Touka Takei.

After 40 chapters, Welcome to the N.H.K. (NHK ni Youkoso!) finally came to an ended in the July issue of Shonen Ace. The manga, drawn by Kendi Oiwa, is based on the light novel of the same name from Tatsuhiko Takimoto.

topOn May 15th, a 17 years old boy from Aizu Wakamatsu City, Fukushima Prefecture killed and dismembered his own mother. According to police investigation, a manga was discovered in the boy's room that tells the story of "a detective with multiple personalities who solves strange murder cases."

According to reports, the manga in question began serialization in 1997, and was adapted into novels, movies and more. Although the series was popular, many considered it to be harmful due to its disturbing murder scenes.
