Seven Seas Entertainment is excited to debut "The Ninja Diaries," a new weekly manga series created exclusively for Metromix Los Angeles by Seven Seas Entertainment. "The Ninja Diaries" will launch on the cover of Metromix's July 23rd print issue – available for free in news boxes around Los Angeles – and it will unfold, week after week, on a full page in the back of the paper. Seven Seas has launched the "Are You An Otaku?" contest, where participants send in pictures of their collection to see who has the most "otaku" collection. Grand prize winner will receive "a one of a kind original full color I, Otaku illustration, drawn and signed by series creator Jiro Suzuki; Plus ten (10) of the latest Seven Seas manga, including I, Otaku: Struggle in Akihabara Vol. 1," while 10 runner-ups will received volume 1 of I, Otaku: Struggle in Akihabara.

MangaCast has more reports on Seven Seas, including teh news that Seven Seas will drop their manga price from $10.99 to $9.99.

ANN reports that ADV Manga will start releasing Yotsuba&! once again, with volume 5 coming out in October. Other series such as Gunslinger Girl will resume their print runs as well. Giapet mentions that ADV Manga plans to release Azumanga Daioh in an "omnibus edition with a larger trim size."
