Tokyopop is current hosting a preview of Make 5 Wishes, the upcoming American manga from Del Rey that is created in collaboration with pop superstar Avril Lavigne.

ANN interviews Fuyumi Ono, creator of the popular novel The Twelve Kingdoms. The Twelve Kingdomsis currently being published in the U.S. by Tokyopop.

According to animeOnline, Tokyopop's Tsunami Party will take place on Monday March 19th at MELTDOWN, which is located at 7522 Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, CA: "Manga-ka like Eric Wight (My Dead Girlfriend), Felipe Smith (MBQ),and Dan Hipp (GYAKUSHU!) will be there to hang out and party with you."

Also, according to Tokyopop's website, a new issue of MANGA Magazine will soon be released, and Tokyopop is urging its users to update their addresses.

Due to a voluminous flood of participant feedback, we've reinstated the People's Choice Award for this seventh running of TOKYOPOP's manga talent competition.
