In "Weekend Beat/ Shakespeare meets Shibuya girl," Asahi Shimbun looks at how manga went from a niche product available only in specialty shops to mainstream in Britain. The article also looks at the Shakespearean manga from the U.K. publisher SelfMadeHero.

According to aNIme, manga artwork from Sweatdrop Studio's Sonia Leong will make an appearance in the new British comedy movie Popcorn.

Random House's UK imprint Tanoshimi has announced that it will ask the fans to vote on what manga it should publish next, the choices are:

  • Genshiken
  • Kagetora
  • Othello
  • Wallflower

Voting begins on February 7th on Tanoshimi's website. One lucky voters will be able to win a Nintendo DS Lite.
