According to Kodansha's Weekly Young Magazine wbesite, Yukipon No O Shigoto by Kazuhiro Azuma will be adapted into a drama, and will debut on April 1st. Yukipon No O Shigoto won the 31st Japanese Cartoonists' Association Award New Face Award in 2002.

topAccording to a page from a Kodansha sales order, Koji Kumeta's Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei will be be adapted into an anime TV series. *Note that there has been no official announcement of an anime adaption from Kodansha as of now.

Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, which began serialization in Weekly Shonen Magazine in 2005, is about a depressed teacher whose attempts to commit suicide are constantly foiled by his 32 equally troubled students.

A manga adaptation of Production IG's anime Sisters of Wellber has begun serialization in Mag Garden's Monthly Comic Blade. The art is drawn by Naruse Takami, who won last year's Comic Blade NEO award for most promising artist.

Publisher Hodder and Stoughton has announced The Manga Bible, a manga adaptation of the world's bestselling book, with art drawn by London based artist Siku.

Currently 4 different versions have been announced, The Manga Bible NT-Raw and The Manga Bible NT-Extreme (released in February) contains only the New Testament, while The Manga Bible Raw Edition and The Manga Bible Extreme Deluxe Edition (to be released in July) will contain the entire Bible.

According to Moonphase, Iwai Kyouhei (Author) and Ruroo (Illustrator)'s light novel series Mushi-Uta (currently serialized in the light novel magazine The Sneaker) will be adapted into a manga series. The manga will begin serialization in the May 2007 issue of Shonen Ace. Also confirmed is an anime series, which will be aired sometime in 2007.

Fuji Television Network recently announced a new Saturday drama show called "Saturday Drama." The first episode, a drama adaption of drama adaption of Shinobu Kaitani's Liar Game, will be aired on April 14th. Actress Erika Toda will be playing the female lead. Liar Game is currently serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump, and the tankoubon release (currently 3 volumes) has sold over 300,000 copies.

Idol Master XENOGLOSSIA, a manga based on the yet-to-be-released anime, will begin serialization in Comptiq Ace Vol 12 (2/26). My-Re Kurosaki will be in charge of the art. This manga is different from Idol Master relations which is based on the game version of Idol Master and began serialization in the March issue of Ichijinsha's Comic REX.

According to the cover wrap of Kodomo no Jikan volume 3, the popular moe/loli manga series will be adapted into an anime.

Kodomo no Jikan by Kaworu Watashiya is currently serialized in Futabasha's Comic High!, and is being published in the U.S. by Seven Seas under the name Nymphet.

Hayate CertIssue 8 of Weekly Shonen Sunday came with a "Butler Certification." The feature is part of a special effort to celebrate Hayate the Combat Butler's anime adaption.
