From MangaCast comes the Diamond Previews for April 2007, which provides information on new U.S. releases for June/July 2007.

A new book titled The Astro Boy Essays: Osamu Tezuka, Mighty Atom, and the Manga-Anime Revolution will be released by Stone Bridge Press in September 2007. The author of the book is Frederick Schodt, a close friend of Tezuka and the author of Manga! Manga! and Dreamland Japan.

According to JBC Publishing, the latest Inuyasha manga also will suffer delays in Brazilian market. As with Furuba, the reason is match the chronology of Japanese releases.

The next volume of Inuyasha will be released by JBC in the beginning of April, and will follow a monthly release schedule afterwards.

MangaCast posts the latest newsletter from 801 Media, which contains information on two of its newly licensed titled:

  • Sensitive Pornograph by Ashika Sakura - October
  • I'm Not Your Stepping Stone by Shiuko Kano - November

Also, Maybe I Am Your Steppin' Stone, sequal to I'm Not Your Stepping Stone, will be released in 2008.

According to JBC Publishing, the release of Fruits Basket volume 21 will be delayed in Brazil. The reason is to keep up with the Japanese release. Fruits Basket volume 23 arrived this week in the Japanese market. According to JBC, "edition 21 arrived here 2 weeks ago, and now the manga team is working on its production". There is currently no release date for volume 21, 22 and 23. JBC said it plans to release Fruits Basket until the very end.

According to animeOnline, Tokyopop's Tsunami Party will take place on Monday March 19th at MELTDOWN, which is located at 7522 Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, CA: "Manga-ka like Eric Wight (My Dead Girlfriend), Felipe Smith (MBQ),and Dan Hipp (GYAKUSHU!) will be there to hang out and party with you."

Also, according to Tokyopop's website, a new issue of MANGA Magazine will soon be released, and Tokyopop is urging its users to update their addresses.
