New Year's Resolution-New SPJA Board Members

Society for the Promotion of Japanese Animation Adds Quan and Wong

Anaheim, California (January 2, 2008) ‹ The Society for the Promotion of Japanese Animation (SPJA), the overseeing body of the nation's largest anime/manga convention (Anime Expo®) announces two (2) new additions to the current Board of Directors. Mr. Bryant Quan, hails with a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Arizona and is currently enrolled in its Eller Executive M.B.A. program, has been a volunteer staffer for Anime Expo® since 2005. Mr. Quan's background stems from a professional work history in Business Management, Information Systems and Creative Design. "I look forward to working with the organization and sharing my experiences in order to help the organization succeed and prosper" states Mr. Quan.

Mr. Hank Wong, a B.S. graduate from the University of California-Berkeley, has been involved with Anime Expo® for 11 years and brings with him a rich background of experience and perspective. Previously, he served for several years as a coordinator, manager, and assistant division director within Anime Expo®'s Programming and Interactive Events Divisions.

Quan and Wong join existing SPJA Board of Directors Ross Johnson, Lionel Lum, H. Roderic Onodera, Chairman-elect Mr. Marc Perez and Paul Wilson.
