The event, promoted by JBC Publishing, will produce the final couple that will go to Japan to represent Brazil in the event that is considered the "World Cup" of cosplayers. This year, WCS 2005 winner Francesca Dani will be special guest of the event. WCS will also see the participation of Ricardo Cruz: Brazilian member of the JAM Project (Japan Animationsong Makers). JBC Publishing has announced plans to make Fullmetal Alchemist available through subscription. FMA is the first JBC title available through subscription. The next volume of Inuyasha will be released by JBC in the beginning of April, and will follow a monthly release schedule afterwards. Fruits Basket volume 23 arrived this week in the Japanese market. According to JBC, "edition 21 arrived here 2 weeks ago, and now the manga team is working on its production". There is currently no release date for volume 21, 22 and 23. JBC said it plans to release Fruits Basket until the very end. JBC Publishing will release Fullmental Alchemist by Hiromu Arakawa in Brazil during the Anime Dreams event, which takes place from January 25 - 28 in São Paulo city. The publisher will also present a challenge for the FMA fans - an enigma game that can only be discovered on the website www.mangasjbc.com.br/fma. JBC Publising recently released released Rurouni Kenshin - Chronicles of a Samurai in the Meiji Age Volume 2 (Samurai X – Crônicas de um Samurai na Era Meiji) in Brazil. The book will come with a special gift for the readers: an exclusive double poster of Kenshin. Source: Papo de Budega Earlier this week JBC Publishing has released the Rurouni Kenshin novel titled Voyage to the Moon World (Samurai X - Crônicas de um Samurai na Era Meiji Volume 1 - Brazilian title). The story, inspired by Nobuhiro Watsuki's manga, was written by Kaoru Shizuka. The novel has 176 pages and costs $13.90 (approximately $6.50 USD). Conrad and JBC has announced a few new titles at this year's Anime Friends that will be published later this year in Brazil.
