Comic Charge is Kadokawa Group's first manga magazine aimed at adult men, with its target audience being businessmen between the ages of 30 and 50. Source: Animaxis In the March issue of Kadokawa Shoten's Monthly Shonen Ace, an announcement was made that Guyver, the long-running sci-fi manga by by Yoshiki Takaya, will finally resume serialization in the April issue of the magazine. Guyver first began serialization in Tokuma Shoten's Shonen Captain in 1985. It moved to Kadokawa Shoten's Shonen Ace after Shonen Captain was discontinued. Due to its irregular release schedules, Guyver is dubbed by many fans as one of the four kings of hiatus (the other three being Bastard!!, The Five Star Stories, and Hunter X Hunter). The first issue of a new seinen magazine titled Comic Charge (コミックチャージ) will be released by Kadokawa Shoten on March 20th. Comic Charge will be Kadokawa Shoten's first seinen magazine, and will be released bi-weekly (1st and 3rd Tuesday every month) for 290 yen. Celebrate Takumi-kun Series' 15th anniversary, series author Shinobu Goto and artist Kazumi Ooya held an autograph session on December 3rd at Animate Yokohama. Only those who bought or reserved both "Takumi-kun series Bara no Shita de - Natsu no Zanzou vol.3" (released on November 30th) and "Takumi-kun series Hana Chiru Yoru ni Kimi wo Omoeba" (released on December 1st) at Animate Ikebukuro or Animate Yokohama were allowed to attend on a first-come-first-ser Kadokawa Group Holdings has announced its plan to divide Kadokawa Shoten into three separate companies next January. The three new companies are: (New) Kadokawa Shoten - The "new" Kadokawa Shoten will take over the publishing and management of "cultural contents" from the "Old" Kadokawa Shoten. Kadokawa Herald Pictures will take over the management of the old Kadokawa's affiliate film business, and Kadokawa Group Holdings will take over Kadokawa's management section. According to Kadokawa Group Holdings, the split is a part of Kadokawa's strategy to specialize its publishing business. Kadokawa Shoten has announced a new "game and goods amusement magazine" titled "Comp Selections" (コンプセレクションズ). The first issue of the magazine will be released on 11/24. Comp Selections will contain game summaries, information on game characters, goods information, staff column, interviews, and seiyuu interview. According to this post, uncollected chapters of CLAMP's X that did not make it into Tankobon format will appear in the upcoming CLAMP Newtype (PLATINUM) special issue of Newtype.
