The Naruto anime will arrive in Brazil next year, when the anime debuts on Cartoon Network Brazil in January 01 in both Brazil and Latin America. Source: PB Two events will take place in Brazil in the beginning of December. Expo Anime Brazil will be held on December 3rd in São Paulo city. The biggest attraction of this year's show will be the appearance of Japonese singer Ayumi Miyazaki, who sang the themes of Digimon, Beat Hit!, The Last Element and Brave Heart. Anime Weekend, which will take place on between December 2 - 3 in Porto Alegre city, will be attened by Ricardo Cruz, a member of the group JAM Project and singer of many Brazilian anime themes. Anime Weekend will also host the first "World Cosplay Summit Brazil" stage. While neither the manga or the anime version of Naruto has been released in the Portuguese language, the shonen series is still extemely popular in Brazil. A poster of Naruto appeared in Brazilian magazine Futuro Comunicação, the issue also contains an article with information and images of the popular anime/manga series. JBC Publising recently released released Rurouni Kenshin - Chronicles of a Samurai in the Meiji Age Volume 2 (Samurai X – Crônicas de um Samurai na Era Meiji) in Brazil. Yoshitaka Amano (天野喜孝) is one of the most well-known Japanese artist today, some of his works include character designs for Vampire Hunter D and the Final Fantasy series.
