ReleasesDark Horse is pleased to announce the addition of Blood+ to its ever-growing line of translated prose and manga. This already established work has found a new life and audience in the animated TV series airing on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim Anime Block. Blood+ will also soon make its slilver screen in a live-action theatrical film produced by William Kong (House of Flying Daggers; Hero; and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon) slated for a 2009 release. ANN is reporting that Viz Media will be releasing a manga adaptation of Nintendo's Legend of Zelda this October: From MangaCast comes the Diamond Previews for April 2008, which provides information on new U.S. releases for June 2008. According to ICv2, Tokyopop will be releasing the first volume of Speed Grapher by Tomozo and Yusuke Kozaki, based on the anime of the same name from Gonzo, this September. Also, the second volume of the manga will be released in December along with "a 248-page novelization of the anime series by Minoru Niki." Blog@Newsarama and MangaBlog both point out that Wildstorm Comics has posted previews of volume 1 of Yoshinori Natsume's Batman: Death Mask and Yoshito Usui's Crayon Shinchan on MySpace. |
