Some say it exists. Some say it doesnt. But you always have to take into accout the only reason most think it exist is because they have watched the anime. If that anime never exsisted no one her would be talking about it because they would not know what it is. You have to take into account that its just a story made by An anime artist and writer. Thats all it is. But many love the story and love it so much that they think it must exsist then. there may be acient japanese folk lore that is similair to death note. but you have to think the person who made death note did not want to copy that folk lore exactly. and so using his imagination he tweaked it a bit and added many things to it. the one major thing is actually writting a name in the death note and someone dying. many of the rules and how to use the death note and also how it looks and how it can be used by humans is all made up for the sake of the anime so it can be a good story. which it was! but many think that there is a death note that can really do that. I say good luck finding an actual one because if your goin beleive an anime that was made by some dude and his imagination and a little inspiration my OLD FOLK lore and stories that are of course not true otherwise they wouldnt be called folk lore. You shit out of luck if you think it exsists. Its very childish to rant on about that you have one.
