Seven Seas(LOS ANGELES, July 23, 2008) – What do a struggling L.A. actor and a beautiful female ninja have in common? Read on to find out! Seven Seas Entertainment is excited to debut "The Ninja Diaries," a new weekly manga series created exclusively for Metromix Los Angeles by Seven Seas Entertainment. "The Ninja Diaries" will launch on the cover of Metromix's July 23rd print issue – available for free in news boxes around Los Angeles – and it will unfold, week after week, on a full page in the back of the paper. The current week's installment + complete story archives will be housed on metromix.com, along with "Ninja Diaries" web exclusives and additional information about LA comic book shops and local comics events. In the latest issue of PWCW, Brigid Alverson interviews Buzz Dixon and Marlon Schulman, the duo behind the Christian manga publisher Realbuzz Studios. New York, NY - Thursday, December 6, 2007: Tor Books, an imprint of Tom Doherty Associates, LLC - the largest publisher of science fiction in the world—has formed a new manga imprint with Seven Seas Entertainment, LLC. Seven Seas, founded in 2004, publishes manga, manga-inspired novels, illustrated juvenile fiction, and more, and is one of the only publishers that produces original manga content in the US. Seven Seas has launched the "Are You An Otaku?" contest, where participants send in pictures of their collection to see who has the most "otaku" collection.
