August 17, 1997 | Dylan Acres' "Maison Ikkoku" debuts at Geocities. |
April 11, 1999 | "Maison Ikkoku" is renamed to "Yusaku Godai's Life at Maison Ikkoku". The site shifts to focus more on information rather than a character shrine created in the voice of Yusaku Godai. |
October 13, 1999 | Viz announces the cancellation of the English dub of the Maison Ikkoku anime after 36 episodes of the 96 are released. Dylan creates "Along Again, Naturally" to raise awareness, collect signatures and put people in touch with Viz. Viz pledges to continue with subtitled only VHS tapes. |
December 28, 1999 | The site receives its 10,000th guest. |
February 2000 | Dylan's Maison Ikkoku site becomes the first runner-up in the "Viz Valentine's Webpage Contest." |
March 13, 2000 | The site receives another complete redesign, with tons of new sections and information added. |
June 17, 2001 | Viz cancels the Maison Ikkoku anime completely, including the subtitled VHS release. "Alone Again, Naturally" perseveres. |
August 21, 2001 - February 3, 2002 | Dylan stops updating the site for an extended period of time. Upon his return he promises that "I'm back!!! And I swear that this site will never go so long without and update again!" |
May 4, 2002 | Dylan becomes his own 24,500th visitor at 5:40 pm. |
May 27, 2002 | LMI moves to furinkan.com. |
May 28, 2002 | Rumic World debuts. |
March 7, 2003 | Rumic World breaks the story that Viz will revive the Maison Ikkoku anime, proving the "Alone Again, Naturally" petition site a success. |
December 13, 2007 | LMI relaunched to match the style of Rumic World. |
