The game is based on a popular how-to-draw-manga tutorial section featured in shojo manga anthology Ciao. The game, utilizing DS's touch screen, puts the player in the shoes of a girl who is trying to have her work published by Ciao. A trailer of the new Mushishi live-action film, starring Jo Odagiri and directed by Katsuhiro Otomo of AKIRA fame, is available on the film's official website (click the blue box to view the trailer). 801 Media has licensed a new yaoi license: Affair by Shiuko Kano.
