Chuosha reports that Toen Shobo's monthly seijin magazine Comic Jumbo ceased publication with its August issue, which went on sale July 6th. Thanks Ed Tomihiko Morimi's award winning novel Yoru wa Mijikashi Aruke-yo Otome will be adapted into a manga in the upcoming issue of Zoukan Ace Assault (July 10th). The manga will be drawn by Ranmaru Kotone. Yoru wa Mijikashi Aruke-yo Otome (Walk, Girls, Walk as the Night Is Short) was released by Kadokawa Shoten in November 2006, and was awarded the 20th Yamamoto Shugoro Prize in 2007. Chuosha reports that Leed's monthly manga magazine Shounen Fang will cease publication with its September issue (on sale 7/19), exactly a year after it was launched.
