Tsukiji Toshihiko (author) and Senmu (illustrator)'s romance comedy/action light novel series Kenpufer will be adapted into a manga. The manga, drawn by Tachibana Yu, will begin serialization during the April issue of Media Facotyr's Comic Alive (2/27). Source: LightNovel.net Moon Phase reports that the love/comedy light novel series Kanokon by Katsumi Nishino (story) and Koin (art) will be adapted into an anime. The light novel is currently being published by Media Factory, with a manga version drawn by Rin Yamaki serialized in Comic Alive. Shueisha has announced that JoJo's Bizarre Adventure by Hirohiko Araki will be adapted into a light novel series called The Book ~ JoJo's Bizarre Adventure 4th Another Day, with Otsuichi in charge of the story. The light novel will be released on 11/26. According to the Comic Flapper Blog, Hideyuki Kikuchi's Vampire Hunter D will be adapted into a manga. According to the blog, volume 1 of the manga will be released on 11/14 in the U.S., Germany, Italy, Spain and other countries simultaneously. According to Moon Phase, Kiminori Wagasugi's manga Detroit Metal City will be adapted into an anime and live-action film. Biohazard (known as Resident Evil in the U.S.) will be adapted into a manga and serialize in Akita Shoten's Weekly Shounen Champion. The manga is written by Masaru Miyazaki and drawn by Naotsugu Matsueda. The first chapter will begin in Shounen Champion No.50. The official website of the newly launched seinen magazine Comic Alive is now up. From Media Factory comes a new monthly magazine called Comic Alive, the first issue will be released on June 27th. According to Media Factory, it will "fill you with energy, and make you feel alive!" |
