June 30 2007 - Long Beach, CA - Go! Comi announced five major new manga licenses at its Anime Expo industry panel this weekend. Chief among these is KAMISAMA KAZOKU, the story of a high school student struggling to have an ordinary life and to romance the girl of his dreams, with one major problem: his interfering parents are gods! This shonen series is based on the highly popular anime from Toei, which aired last year in Japan. ANN reports that Tokyopop has licensed the sci-fi/shoujo manga Jyu Oh Sei by Natsumi Itsuki. From MangaCast comes the news that Dark Horse is on the verge of dropping Endo Hiroki's EDEN. CMX confirmed the title Presents from the Queen of Horror by Inuki Kanako, and announced a new policy for treating M rated manga: oversized (A5), shrink-wrapped and sold at $12.95.
