SerializationA special one-shot story from Gosho Aoyama, creator of Detective Conan (Case Closed), will appear in Shogakukan's Weekly Young Sunday issue 16, on sale 3/22. The one-shot, titled Tell Me A Lie -Lies being Attached to Me-, is said to be Gosho Aoyama's first new story after 13 years. A new manga titled My-Otome Arashi will begin serialization in Akita Shoten's Weekly Shonen Champion issue 18 (3/29). The new manga is written by Higuchi Tatsuhito & Yoshino Hiroyuki and drawn by Sato Kenetsu, the same team that worked on My-Otome. Also a new series titled Shiritsu Sousei Gakuen by Nikuboshi will begin serialization in issue 17 (3/22) of Weekly Shonen Champion. Source: Ultimatum Chat Ken Akamatsu's Mahou Sensei Negima! Part 1 (First Semester) ended in the latest issue of Weekly Shonen Magazine. According to Ken Akamatsu's online dairy (2/27 entry), Part 2 (Summer Break) will begin within a few weeks (possibly in Shonen Magazine issue 16, on sale 3/21). Ken Akamatsu also mentioned on his dairy that a Negima-related surprise will be announced in April regarding "a plan that has never been done before." According to the preview page on the BJ website, Kei Toume's Sing Yesterday for Me will resume serialization in Business Jump issue 8 (3/15). Sing Yesterday for Me went on hiatus in September of 2006, and many thought the series ended for good due to the announcement message. According to Weekly Shonen Magazine issue 13 preview, "Part 1" of Ken Akamatsu's Mahou Sensei Negima! will end in Shonen Magazine issue 14, on sale 3/7. The preview message reads: "Part 1 (one semester) ends!" The starting date of Negima Part 2 has not been announced. Also XEBEC's anime Heroic Age will be adapted into a manga series, which will start in the June issue of Magazine Z, on sale 4/26. A special Heroic Age "Chapter 0" will appear in Magazine Z May issue. According to information on a bookstore pamphlet promoting Kadokawa Shoten's new seinen magazine Comic Charge (to be released in March), the serialization of the popular seinen manga MPD Psycho, written by Eiji Otsuka and drawn by Sho-u Tajima, will be moved from Shonen Ace to Comic Charge. Gyakuten Saiban (Phoenix Wright) by Kazuo Maekawa, based on the popular game from Capcom, will be moving from Bessatsu Young Magazine (Young Magazine Extra Issue) to Young Magazine. Gegege no Kitaro Part 2 will begin serialization in the April issue of Comic BonBon (3/15). The launch will coincide with the fifth season of the Gegege no Kitaro anime, which will premiere on April 28 in Japan. Also mentioned were some Gegege no Kitaro manga releases. Volume 1 and 2 of the manga, as well as volume 1-3 of the original version by Shigeru Mizuki will go on sale March 16th.
